Predatory Nature
This was a painting I did in 2005 for a class assignment. The predator characters are theoretically upper-class ladies and gentlemen in an upper-class club/bar setting, looking aggressive, drinking blood. The message is about how the upper-class preys on and takes advantage of the lower-class (here represented by the prey species icons in the beer taps). I don't usually down-talk my work, but I can see the technical flaws in this now, a year and a half later. That, and it actually photographed horribly. Board, 30" long
Brisco by Night
A long-overdue commission for Poufy Werewolf, as left over from last summer. It's her werewolf character Brisco just after his monthly transformation. The photo hardly does justice to the actual painting, which I have to say, is an absolute gem. I wish I could have kept it. Board, 16x20"
Dessa Pinup
Here's a little painting I did as a commission for the good folks over at the Chakat's Den. It's a classical-style pinup of a Rakshani tiger lady by the name of Dessa, posed suggestively on the hide of some prey species from her home planet (inspired by an addax). Board, 11"square
Bonita
Another commission from last summer, a small vintage pin-up style blond-tabby-tiger morph Rakshani named Bonita. I hope this is appropriate fare for ArtSpots. I know it's a little more racy than my stuff usually is, but I think she's still pretty cute. I rated her high just in case. Original 8x10"
Ambrose and Angelina
A commission done last summer for Arania. She wanted her characters shown having a quiet evening together watching television. :) Board, 9"x12" Characters (c) Arania
Kemsa KelTaq
A commissioned character from the Wilderhom trilogy, an ambassador for her race, Kemsa KelTaq. Kemsa is a felocanid phur, something that I understand is a cougar-fox hybrid humanoid--and she was supposed to be quite stunning. I hope I pulled it off. ;) Original 11x17" Kemsa KelTaq as well as the Wilderhom Universe and the Trilogy itself (Riders of the Mind, Wilderhom, Beyond that Which Divides) are copyright Philip James Eggerding (Cirrel or Brother Jerenn).
In the Canopy
A painting I did mostly for fun. I have an unhealthy obsession with big cats of the spotted variety. He has 5 different species of toucan friends. :) Original 12x18"

She's gorgeous! I love that hair. -
If this were about upperclass/lowerclass, I would have added a lot more jewelry (or something) too them because the upperclass aspect isn't apparent from the piece. Either way, this is rather brilliant. -
Wow, move over Boris Vallejo! -
